Sanctuary at Ruthin

This beautiful location has been a site for health and healing for the last 17 years where hundreds of animals have been able to heal and recover then find better places to live or just to live out their time in care and comfort.
Not just the Sanctuary animals but taking in ex industrial chickens and cruelly treated dogs. There is something special about this site that makes every animal that comes to site relax and breath.

Now we are offering that same haven to humans. Our Ethos with the animals is that they need some where warm and safe to sleep, the basics of food and water, then they just need a clean calm perfect natural environment to find their own inner happy place.

We won’t be feeding and watering you, but we believe that everything else here will provide you with the same feeling of Sanctuary. You have the space to yourself, this is a single occupancy “Comfy Camping” site, to just relax, unwind and enjoy the simplicity that wild has to offer.

Sleep in a King Sized bed in a walled tent with a log burner offering you the ability to snuggle down to sleep safe and warm to the sounds of weather and wildlife outside. Your own cook house and thunderbox provide all the amenities you need, sit out to eat under an ash tree or around a campfire and enjoy the nothingness.
